Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Private wxveform Shoutrrr Instance, a privately operated, self-hosted social-media scheduling tool (the “Service”). It is intended for the operator's personal use and is not offered as a public account service.

Information processed

When an X account is connected, the Service may process information returned by X, including the account identifier, username, profile information and email address when X makes it available. The Service also stores OAuth access and refresh tokens, post drafts, schedules, uploaded media, publishing results and limited technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the connected account, display account details, prepare and schedule content, publish requested content through the X API, troubleshoot failures and protect the Service. Information is not sold, used for advertising or used to build profiles for unrelated purposes.

Sharing and transfers

Information is sent to X when required to authenticate the account or perform requested actions such as publishing content. Hosting, networking and security providers may process limited information as necessary to run the private server. Information is not otherwise disclosed except when required by law or necessary to protect the Service.

Storage and security

Application data is stored on privately controlled infrastructure. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including HTTPS and restricted administrative access. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained only while needed to operate the Service. The connected X account can be disconnected and its authorization can be revoked in X settings. Requests to inspect or delete stored account data can be sent to the contact address below.

Your choices

You may revoke the Service's X access at any time from X account settings. Revocation prevents future API access but may not automatically remove locally stored drafts, logs or account records; contact the operator to request deletion.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the Service or its integrations change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
